Suns Shines at Silverstone
With the return of James Rees-Davis from working overseas and Russell Dack after having to rebuild his car in 2 weeks the race between them was on again.
Many new drivers came along enjoyed the sun and great atmosphere in the Wing Complex - its great to have all the drivers close together in one garage - makes it easier to handle
Qualifying went well with James pipping Russell by less than half a second so we knew that it would be close again
James drove a fantastic race 1 and rode his luck and had a great tussle with cars further up the grid showing how much he has come on as a driver - Russell tried hard but with a new car he struggled for grip over the National circuit
Race 2 saw them next to each other and the other BMWcup cars behind them so it was always going to be fun
It was close all race and with them battling for track position with James Ford and Greg Marking who are very experienced drivers they behaved well and had a close race - Russell just pipping James at the finish
Good to see them both back and we have many new drivers lookng to get in the mix with them for the BMWcup wins next year
